The first place most customers install a Purifan is in the bedroom. The bedroom is full of gray dust that is mostly decaying skin cells that are rubbed off the body while you sleep. These decaying skin cells are typically eaten by a microscopic insect called a dust mite. These millions of dust mites produce fecal pellets that are a very irritable allergen to most children and adults. Purifans do a great job of filtering out airborne particulates and bedroom odors.

Make sure your ceiling fan is mounted correctly to a box that is designed to carry the weight of a ceiling fan and Purifan. About 25 to 35 pounds depending on the size of your ceiling fan motor.
